Iceland Volcano

When Mother nature hit...
A
s ash from Iceland's Eyjafjallajokull volcano continued to keep European airspace shut down over the weekend, affecting millions of travelers around the world, some government agencies and airlines clashed over the flight bans. Some restricted airspace is now beginning to open up and some limited flights are being allowed now as airlines are pushing for the ability to judge safety conditions for themselves. The volcano continues to rumble and hurl ash skyward, if at a slightly diminished rate now, as the dispersing ash plume has dropped closer to the ground, and the World Health Organization has issued a health warning to Europeans with respiratory conditions. Collected here are some images from Iceland over the past few days.

Menyesal - Regret

Lately I can’t stop listen to this broken-hearted song. This song is killing me, music and lyric are perfectly match with vocalist. Anyway this is Indonesian song by Ressa Herlambang entitle 'Menyesal' (Regret) and I would like to dedicated this song to someone I’ve known for years but now it’s over.

"The wise are wise only because they love. The fool are fools only because they think they can understand love."

Freshies

Words cannot express how I feel right now. Some thing are better left unsaid.

"It's the possibility of having a dream come true that makes life interesting."

Holiday or Short Vacation

After 4 months had been working hard from 800 – 1700 perday, meeting clients 5 days a week (some are very polite and professional, some could be little piss-off but it’s fine with me cause it’s my challenge. I am tired of count money and calculate number daily… I guess I need little rest. Today is the 3rd day off… I stuck in my room, what I need is holiday… I shall travel somewhere.

I’ve contact my friends in Bangkok and she told me this isn’t good time travel in Bangkok since chaos by Red. However my friend in Chiang Mai are welcome me, he told me Chiang Mai are much more safe than Bangkok… but I am sorry Charasrit Smithapindhu aka Rit… maybe end of this year I’ll be in Chiang Mai where it much cooler so... see you later friend! I need some places where it cool and refresh so I can re-invention myself.

Kuching Waterfront
I was thinking about Kuching Sarawak. Kuching emerged as one of the most vibrant cities in the region and it is the largest city on the island of Borneo and the fourth largest city in Malaysia… but not this time... this is not what I really want.

Stadhuys Square, Malacca
Malacca, dubbed The Historical State or Negeri Bersejarah (amongst locals) is the third smallest Malaysian state. This historical city centre has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 7 July 2008… still apart of me says NO… why?

On Saturday, after Clash of Titans, I took the route south Ipoh to where the sunset hide drowns by the ocean. On my way, I saw the green field… my heart feel something. Wish I could have what they call ‘hometown’ on remote are like this…

A lady walking along Padi field

Green Green grass home... so peaceful

What a wonderful world...

"Book a flight where you want to go, pack your bags, and brave the new world alone...you will be changed forever!"

Happy Birthday

Clash Of Titans (2010)

Yesterday I didn’t manage to get a fast-train ticket from Ipoh to KL since it fully book or consider sold out. 'Adios' to 'mi amigos' hopefully you guys will return to Ipoh with plenty of great pictures. Then I went to Ipoh Parade (Shopping Mall) and do little shopping before I enter GSC (Golden Screen Cinemas Sdn Bhd is the leading film exhibitor and distributor in Malaysia), got a ticket and watch a film at the same building. This time I decided to watch Clash of the Titans is a 2010 fantasy film and remake of the 1981 film of the same name. It was fantastic movie with great actor/actress and amazing CGI effects, bravo!!! Once it over I feel like I was the lead actor in that movie.

Here the narrative:
The film begins with a narration by Io, explaining that there were originally three Gods: Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades. The Gods defeated their greatest enemies, the Titans, with the help of Hades's creation, the Kraken. After the Titans' defeat, Zeus created man and ruled them while Poseidon ruled the sea, but Hades, having been deceived by his brother Zeus is forced to rule the Underworld, constantly plotting to take Zeus's throne for himself.

A fisherman, Spyros, finds a coffin adrift in the sea, discovering a baby, Perseus, and his dead mother, Danaë, inside. Spyros decides to raise Perseus as his own. Years later, Perseus and his family are fishing when they witness a group of soldiers from Argos destroying a statue of Zeus and declaring war on the gods. Hades commands harpies to massacre the soldiers, then destroys the boat Perseus and his family are on. Perseus tries to save his family but to no avail, the surviving soldiers take Perseus back to Argos.

During a feast for the returning soldiers King Cepheus and Queen Cassiopeia of Argos compare themselves and their daughter, Andromeda, to the gods. Andromeda is against fighting the gods, and is protesting when Hades appears and kills the remaining soldiers. Perseus is unaffected however, and Hades realizes Perseus is a demigod and reveals Zeus is Perseus's father. Hades kills the queen, and threatens that if Princess Andromeda is not sacrificed to the Kraken, Argos will be destroyed in 10 days.

The king seeks the help of Perseus. Perseus initially refuses, but decides to help when Io, an immortal being who has watched over Perseus from the time he was born, assures him he can have his revenge against Hades. Perseus and Io embark on a quest to find the Stygian Witches. Hades enlists Acrisius, the man who was married to Danaë when Zeus impregnated her with Perseus. Acrisius was leading men to attack Olympus, and while other gods wanted to annihilate Acrisius, Zeus wanted to make an example of him. He snuck into Danaë's bed in the form of Acrisius and impregnated her. Acrisius declared that the baby could not be born, and set Danaë and the baby Perseus adrift in their coffin. Hades imbues him with powers to aid him in killing Perseus, and Acrisius takes the name of Calibos. While in the woods, Perseus and his men discover a sword forged in Olympus that will only display power if it is wielded by Perseus. Perseus also discovers a winged horse called Pegasus. Perseus refuses to use either of these gifts, as he does not wish to be a God. Calibos attacks the group led by Perseus. They severe the hand of Calibos, the hand and his blood attract giant scorpions, and Perseus and his group are attacked. They are saved by the Djinn, sand-demons with magical powers. Perseus and the Djinn agree to cooperate.

At the Garden of Stygia, the Stygian Witches tell Perseus that the head of Medusa could kill the Kraken, but that Perseus will die in the process. After leaving the witches, Perseus is visited by Zeus who offers him asylum on Mount Olympus. He refuses. Zeus gives him instead a golden drachma. Perseus uses the coin to bribe Charon for passage into the Underworld and enters Medusa's lair. Although four of Perseus' remaining soldiers fight hard to stay alive, one by one they are turned to stone by her gaze. Draco, one of the soldiers with Perseus, allows himself to be turned to stone to give Perseus a clear shot at Medusa's head. Perseus kills Medusa, but Calibos returns and kills Io. Perseus engages Calibos in combat and kills him, using the sword from Olympus to stab him in the heart and turn him back into Acrisius in human form. Acrisius then tells Perseus to not become a god, before dying. Perseus rides Pegasus back to Argos with Medusa's head, where the Kraken is destroying the city.

Hades hopes the destruction of Argos will give him enough power to overthrow the other Olympians. Zeus attempts to banish Hades back to the Underworld, but Hades overpowers him. Zeus then reveals to Hades that Perseus is still alive. Hades leaves to oversee the Kraken's attack and ensure his victory.

Perseus defeats the creatures sent by Hades and uses the head of Medusa to turn the Kraken into stone. Perseus throws his sword at Hades, charged with a bolt of lightning from Zeus, banishing Hades to the Underworld. Perseus saves Andromeda, but he declines to become king of Argos.

Zeus offers to make Perseus a god, but he refuses. Zeus warns Perseus that Hades will return someday when mankind is in fear. Since Perseus is intent to stay on Earth, Zeus resurrects Io, and the two embrace while Pegasus flies above them.

Note: Between Avatar & Clash Of Titans (both same lead actor), I vote for Clash Of Titans as movie of the year!

Gloomy Sunday

Sunday is gloomy
My hours are slumberless
Dearest the shadows
I live with are numberless
Little white flowers

Will never awaken you
Not where the black coach
Of sorrow has taken you
Angels have no thought
Of ever returning you
Would they be angry
If I thought of joining you
Gloomy Sunday

Sunday is gloomy
With shadows I spend it all
My heart and I have decided
To end it all
Soon there'll be flowers and prayers
That are said I know
But let them not weep
Let them know
That I'm glad to go
Death is no dream
For in death I'm caressing you
With the last breath of my soul
I'll be blessing you
Gloomy Sunday

Dreaming
I was only dreaming
I wake and I find you asleep
In the deep of my heart dear
Darling I hope
That my dream never haunted you
My heart is telling you
How much I wanted you
Gloomy Sunday
