Madonna - Celebration Single Review

CD SINGLE - COVER PAGE

The Queen is return so move over mother and sisters. Madonna new single has been official heavy rotations spin all over the world today. Before this I’ve heard Oakenfold Dub version it’s kinda great remix and I can’t wait listen to Album Version. Then Benny Benassi Remix (video) leak on the net… I don’t really like that version however it was low quality so got to waited for HQ then only I can compare.
Recently I’ve heard full version of Celebration (single) and boy… I love the sound… it’s catchy song and very Madonna-ish meet Oakenfold stylo and really make me want to dance. The beat makes your body/leg and ass move as ‘invitation to dance’. Madonna still got the power of ‘can't-get-it-out-of-your-head melodies’ and it will stick in your head even when you not listen to this track. Yet the best part is when Madonna ‘talk/spoken/laugh’ (wow we miss that huh it’s has been long time!) it’s truly Madonna. I’m sure this song could be huge in everywhere (European/Africa/Australia and Asia but not sure it can cracks America Mainstream music though Lady Gaga did with Pop but… I’m sure with amazing remixes it gonna hit Billboard #1 spot for Club/Dance Playlist.
Rating 4 out of 5.

Breaking news:
* The new Madonna single has made it to the Amazon.com's Top 50 best sellers within only 8 hours of its release and 5 stars rating. At the moment we're writing this "Celebration" is ranking at a stunning #7 in the Hot New Releases in MP3 songs. The digital download has also been made available on the iTunes music stores worldwide today.

** The Benni Benassi remix of Madonna's "Celebration" was played tonight by Pete Tong on his show on BBC Radio, live from Ibiza and it seemed like the crowd were loving it.

The Black King and The White Queen

Michael Jackson and Madonna are obviously two biggest pop stars of the 20th century. The dethroned King of Pop died on June 25, before he could have a chance to go on stage to celebrate his triumphant return. The Queen of Pop is still there, and she is not going anywhere. Madonna continues her Sticky and Sweet tour and prepares to make a stop in Russia’s St. Petersburg on August 2. Michael is still hidden somewhere, and nobody knows what exactly happened to his body, whether he was buried or not. Quite on the contrary, Madonna is still alive and kicking – everything that she touches continued to turn into gold.
Madonna has never had an iota of Michael Jackson’s talent. However, she could compete with anyone in terms of her ability to work and accomplish something. When Madonna was looking for a way to hit the big time, Michael Jackson was conducting several revolutions in music. He made MTV prosper as he started making short films to his songs. Jackson came up with a whole new genre – a mixture of soul, funk and disco. The proportions of his mix were so subtle and unique that nobody else has been able to repeat his recipe since then.

Michael Jackson was a mega star because no one else has ever been able to duplicate him (countless moonwalkers and impersonators don’t count). Madonna as an artist is a mega star too, because she made millions of people listen to her and follow her. Michael Jackson was dancing and singing like a terrestrial extraterrestrial, whereas Madonna was breaking many of terrestrial taboos.

The Soviet press started writing about the phenomena of the two mega stars nearly simultaneously. Both Madonna and Jackson were portrayed in the USSR as the products of bourgeois culture, as something evil and unacceptable in the society of communism. Soviet journalists used to slam Madonna for being sexually provocative in public. Strangely enough, nearly all journalists of the atheist Soviet Union were astonished with the stage name, which, as they thought, the singer chose for herself just like that. They did not even think that Madonna was her real name. It is worthy of note that many people in Russia still think of Madonna as a woman, who became famous just because she chose such a prominent stage name.
Madonna is still the same when it comes to her public performances. She is still provocative and sexy, whereas Michael Jackson fell victim to his own lifestyle. Michael Jackson was making breathtaking videos and amazing live shows during the 1990s. He was unreachable as a dancer and singer; there was no one else like him in the world. Madonna was making hit songs and videos too, but she was exploiting sexuality and became of the world’s best-known revolutionaries at this point.

Michael did not know what he was doing. It seemed that he did not want to grow up and become an adult man. He amassed multi-million debts and did not have an idea of how to settle them. Madonna is a genius when it comes to making money. She always knows what she wants, what sells and what does not sell in the world today, and she always catches the right trend to be able to stay afloat and make people stare at her and listen to her music.

The King of Pop became the Ex-King of Pop very quickly. He was not making new music and was about to file for bankruptcy instead. Madonna is far away from all that. She is sexually provocative only on stage, but became a grown up lady in everything else. She started writing children’s books, married an English film director, whom she successfully divorced later, and had four children – two of her own and two from Africa. She releases new albums regularly, and her world tours set box office records. Madonna will never lose her fortune which she amassed in almost 30 years. Michael Jackson was making grand live shows, but then suffered from grand complexes, which eventually killed him. His “return” as the King of Pop will always be remembered as a grand affair in the world of show business.

Cuti Cuti Malaysia - Beruas - Gangga Negara

Since I was a kid I used to dream about this town known as Beruas . I’ve read books about this ancient city call Gangga Negara located in Beruas. Beruas (alternate spelling: Bruas) is a small town in Perak 40km from Sitiawan, Malaysia. In ancient times, before the area was known as Perak, it was a kingdom named Gangga Negara with its capital in Beruas. Gangga Negara is mentioned by the Malay Annals (Sejarah Melayu) and the kingdom covered present day Beruas, Dinding and Manjung in Perak. The kingdom was believed to be founded by Raja Ganjil Sarjuna of Kedah or the Khmer royalties around the second century AD. Raja Gangga Shah Johan was among the kings. The kingdom collapsed after an attack by King Rajendra Chola I of the southern Indian Chola empire around year 1025.

You Give Me Fever

Last few days I note… in the middle of the night I feel something wrong about my throat but I don’t pay much attention about it. I manage of to work and do my routine. However I start feeling weak. For that matter I took ‘pain killer’ to ease my pain. Unfortunately this is not the end. I start feeling kind a feverish, my body temperature can be high and low. My throat gets worst, I hardly can swallow anything even a piece of bread. Still I manage go to work with lot of ‘pain killer’ to kill my pain? I don’t know. But now I got FEVER

“Never know how much I love you
Never know how much I care
When you put your arms around me
I get a fever that's so hard to bear

You give me fever, when you kiss me
Fever when you hold me tight
Fever in the morning
Fever all through the night”

Poor me :(

Twilight Sunset

My sunrise is over sunset is here
I have lived in my world of fantasy
A world of ups and dawns
Only to be broken by cruel reality

To be with you was a world of euphoria
Now here I am looking at the moon tonight
But I’m done believing my soul is shattered
The past is like a star, beautiful yet far in sight

Our dance and our wonderful song
Words that made me fly and my heart flutter
Now I realize are just really words, nothing more
For believing the music wouldn’t stop, no I suffer

I thought I had everything figured out
But life is full of twists and turn
The deception and lie, the fallacy of your love
It pains me to look back and return…

p/s: dedicate to the one that I love most

Short Holiday

This week I spent my weekend close to be beach. I need space for myself to think about love and life. I’ve lost my best friend about a month ago and I’ve lost my lover about 5 years ago and still I can’t stop thinking about it. Doesn’t anyone know how I feel?

Lately few people I know try matching me with a girl. I know her as my client but not more than that. We never go out together or had long conversation... everything base on work. She’s a good girl with great personality but sorry to say she’s not my type. I’m sorry. But I do hope she’ll find good men one day.

Back to roots, I spent my weekend at Teluk Senangin. There’s no proper good hotel or 5 stars hotel but cheap one. I book a chalet for RM90 per night however price can be negotiating but during school holiday it always fully book. A small house facing the sea located near fishermen villages. One thing for sure… when I was there I feel so free and calm. Away from home so I can forget about my workload. Its very relaxing places to go. When I look back, it was my 4th times I was there. I don’t know why but I must say I love this place compare to other beaches like Teluk Batik where it’s always crowded. Teluk Senangin it just right one… land in quiet place at remote area. Last time when I was here I’ve seen beautiful sunset. It was one of my greater moments in this life but I a fool… the camera with me but memory card left in my house. At night it can be very quiet place. No traffic but sounds of sea sing a lullaby. Think about my love life.. well at moment... to be continued

Thing that you can do there:
Fishing – favorite place for fishing!
Jungle trekking
Camping
Swimming

Thing to remember:
No air conditioner available. Sri Senangin offers 14 chalets only.
No much choice of restaurant around.
(Food and beverage can be arrange in the house with good price)
No drug store/far from city/town
