Last Friday I went to Sungai Lampam with my colleague. We travel by car and it took about an hour to reach destination. Nothing much to snap cause we travel at night, anyway it was raining along the road. We both overnight at this parent’s house located at near the Padi fields.

The next morning we went to his relative’s house where they have an engagement day. They welcome me as part of this family. I was there as guest and I feel like VIP guest because they treat me good. I’m happy surrounded by his family. They used to communicate to each other in different language (java) which I hardly can understand. It sounds very different from Malay linguistic. However they will to communicate with me in Malay. I was served with local food, some salad known as Silom…
(Kerabu Silom - Silom salad)
(Cow skin with coconut milk)
(pineapple with salt fish)

On the afternoon, the engagement is over when both part agreed. They fixed the wedding date and I guess both boy and girl are count the days... congratulations (tahniah). Later we went for seeing sight. Our first location is Bagan Datoh, a small town located at the estuarine of Perak River to Straits of Malacca. Stop there about an hour later having cup of coffee with evening sea breeze. Our next destination is Sungai Tiang, both places I never been before. We stop by at Sungai Tiang town which is much smaller than Bagan Datoh to refill the petrol before head to the sea.
Evening where the sun is going down, we left Sungai Tiang and back to Parit 3 Sungai Sumun. After shower and prayer we had dinner together… it seem to be a perfect family! At 2100 we were living… and heading toward Teluk Intan where the leaning tower of Malaysia is stand still. We spent about an hour before we return to Sungai Lampam and from Sungai Lampam we slowly drive home exactly at 1AM in the morning… and reach home about 3am and zzzzzzzzzzzInformations:
